Marcus Maddox Will Dance His Way Into Your Heart!

One thing that you will notice about this blog is that I not only try to keep it interesting, but I definitely try to keep it up to date with some of the best photographers and I think that Marcus Maddox is certainly one of the best right now. He is one that captured my heart with his photos of dancing.

Dancing is something that is near and dear to my heart and I have to say that when I saw these pictures, done up right by Marcus Maddox, I was blown away. Not only are these photos amazing, but they are breathtaking!

I think that Marcus Maddox is the photographer to get if you are looking for someone that is verse in the art of dance and any performing arts really.

Let’s All Eat Cake W/Donna Tyson!

Photography is all about the picture and all about the photographer who is taking the picture. If you want to make something look incredible in a photo, you want to make sure that you have a photographer who knows exactly what they are doing all of the time and that is what you get when you are dealing with Donna Tyson.

This is one photographer that I absolutely love and I think the reason is because she shoots food. Shooting still-life and food items as well as liquid is difficult – I mean face it, you truly have no control over a lot of things and you really have to make sure that the shot looks perfect and that is what Donna Tyson does.

I mean – come one, check out this dessert. It’s breathtakingly beautiful! She does do people too and editorial but her food shots will always be in my heart. Wonder if she ate this after shooting it.

David Knight — His Pictures Are Awesome!

David Knight is one of those photographers that I did not think that first off I would like. I took a look at some of his photos and I have to admit that I did not like all of them – however, there are quite a few that I did like and that was enough to switch my opinion of him. Take this picture for example, this is just one of his many still-life pictures and that is what I love.

Now, David Knight is actually trained in any number of things and certainly can take all sorts of different photos of everything from still-life all the way to fine art, but I think that still-life is his calling. This piece is breathtaking.

It is all about the simple things and I believe that David Knight knows that. He knows how to shoot simple things.

David Hills — Washington’s Best!

In this blog, we have covered a lot of different photographers and all of them have been great but I do not think that all of them live up to the beauty – the incredible talent and the overall appeal that David Hills brings to the table. Not only is this Washington DC photographer one of the best in the field but he is so versatile as well!

Although the marine, boats and fishing are what David Hills does mainly, this guy also does editorial magazines as well as advertising and annual reports – all of which look breathtakingly beautiful in their own right.

So if you are looking for some beautiful photography, David Hills is the man of the hour!

Janis Litavnieks: The Best Photographer!

Let’s have a little talk about Janis Litavnieks – this is a photographer that is absolutely one of the best out there. I have to say that Janis Litavnieks is one of the most diverse photographers out there right now and this picture is just one example of thwat she can do. Janis Litavnieks is a photographer that can shoot anything from portraits to fashion to landscapes as well as inside and outside of water.

She also loves to shoot movable and unmovable things as well as things in the air. Personally I absolutely love Janis Litavnieks and I think that this photographer is going places. Janis Litavnieks also has photos with istockphoto as well as GettyImages – which you know are the best.

Peter Duffy: Cookies Anyone?

So, folks, let’s have a chat about a brand – brand new photographer that has been doing it for a while but that I just discovered. Peter Duffy is the name and to be quite frank, he is awesome! While this might just look like a cookie falling into milk, it is really hard to capture that on film and I think that Peter does a really good job.

This is a guy that actually became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for the State of Connecticut and honestly – he switched careers. He started doing photography while he was a funeral director; however photography seemed to his passion.

Duffy has done so many different things and has traveled all over the world and he actually is a master of commercial photography and ad design, which is what I personally love. You should see him!

Tom Geisbuesch: Food, Fun & Flirty!

When you think about it – finding the perfect photographer to take a picture of food is difficult. You need to make sure that the photographer itself knows what they are doing, how they can arrange the food, how the food looks best and what angles to shoot from. That is by far the most difficult part, however I think that Tom Geisbuesch is very talented in this.

One thing that Tom Geisbuesch has under his belt is the fact that he not only shoots food, but he is actually an advertising specialist and he knows what angles looks good in everything. Take this picture for example – this picture is absolutely breathtaking and it looks incredible when you look at it.

He couldn’t have done that if he didn’t have the talent that he has right now. That is why Tom Geisbuesch is one of my favorite – favorite photographers of all time!

Patrick Demarchelier — The Fashion Photographer!

When you think about it – there are so many things that people do not know about – photography, specifically fashion photography is one of them. For example, do you know who Patrick Demarchelier is? Most people do not, however he is one of the most famous fashion photographers of our time and he produces some of the most beautiful pictures in the world. Patrick Demarchelier was born in 1943 in Paris – that alone has to tell you something.

Patrick Demarchelier has lived in NY since 1975 and has been photographing since 1975 – he actually got into it via freelancing and learning and working with all sorts of photographers, one specifically inspired him though and that was Henri Cartier-Bresson. In 1992, he actually shot for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar and from that time on, he has been doing advertising campaigns for all sorts of fashion labels.

Patrick Demarchelier is one high-in-demand photographer and he has earned it! He has written many photography books and is certainly a fantastic guy behind the camera!

Dennis Pedersen Is The Top Dog Still-Life Photographer!

To me – some of the best photography in the world is all about how you capture it right in that moment … still life if you will. That is exactly what v is all about. This guy is a master at his craft in the still life department and he is a technical pro at what he does. Still life and creative product photography has been Dennis Pedersen’s passion for over 20 years and I think that he is definitely worth it!

Take a look at this particular photo … no one but Dennis Pedersen could ever capture something that is so simple and create something so beautiful out of it. Makeup is something that is so hard to make look awesome and I think that Dennis Pedersen did an awesome job right here. This guy is also a water specialist, so you know that is he can take photos of products under water, he has got to be the best right?

Dennis Pedersen states that he absolutely loves working with water because it bends the light a certain way and because of the movement of the objects … water is hard to work with, yet Dennis Pedersen is up to the challenge!

Jerry Avenaim Is Making The List Of Best Photographers!

When you look at Jerry Avenaim – you would probably think that this guy is not actually a photographer, however his work is some of the best that I have ever seen. Jerry Avenaim is actually known for his fashion and celebrity images. Even at age forty-seven, he is still alive and churning out some of the best photos that this world has ever seen in the fashion industry and that to be is beautiful. Jerry has been in the photography game since he was a teenager and he was raised in Chicago.

Jerry Avenaim is actually very well-known and he has done a lot of different things in his work. He has photographed models for Vogue, GQ, Newsweek and Glamour and he has done countless covers for magazines. He has also done a lot of work with celebrities such as Phil McGraw, Angela Bassett, Brooke Shields and Halle Berry – and that is just the tip of the iceberg with Jerry Avenaim!

His work is not all commercial though, he does do quite a bit of art pieces as well and this is one of them – it is beautiful in my eyes and I just wanted you to get inside Jerry Avenaim’s mind a little bit!
